just wanted to drop you a line to express my thoughts about the Wedding
Guide Forums. The Wedding Forum was an amazing source of ideas, help
and advice in the frantic year I spent planning my wedding. It was
great to have a question and know that there were so many people out
there who could offer sensible advice and practical solutions, and
when problems cropped up, there were other people going through the
same thing. Since getting married, I've really discovered the other
forums in a big way and now have to check them all out daily! I am
so pleased that the forums are winning awards and gaining the recognitition
that they deserve. They truly have become part of my life so I wanted
to send you and everyone who works on the forums a big huge massive
thanks. Jo-L I found this site by accident a couple of years ago when it hadn't long been started,initially it was just for weddings,now there is a whole community there and 18 different forums to choose from. The best thing about the site is that people really seem to care about you,if you have a problem or worry you'll get loads of replies offering advice,support etc.I look several times a day,it is addictive. Dizzy This website is devoted to people planning their weddings, and contains an incredible amount of information, helpful advice, and guidance. There is a very strong and welcoming community. This is a great site, even if you are not planning a wedding, with lots of helpful people willing to give advice, or just to listen. I'd recommend anyone to visit. Magpie The best wedding site online with everything you can think of. I recently got married in September and what a stressful time it was. The wedding Guide was an absolute god send to my wife and I. There are so many decisions to make and when you've not done it before, you just don't know where to start. The information is so easily found and the site is so well presented it was all we needed to organize a perfect wedding. You just have to visit this site!!!! Kevin It is a "Safe Haven", but not at all wishy-washy and girly- I find this very rare, especially on the net! It is well regulated by the host and I am completely addicted. I can't recommend it highly enough! Michelle A real community atmosphere has developed where your most personal and intimate quetions can be answered by like minded people. Catherine Thanks to all the WGUK team, I would never have known half the things I am expected to do in order to plan a wedding, all your tips and advice have managed to keep me sane when all I could think about was colour schemes, and whether my dress would actually fit. Jane I'm not surprised the Wedding Guide won an award. I think it's a fantastic site and run really well. The wedding forum has kept me sane through a year of wedding planning. Even though I'm now married I will definitely keep on using it for the other forums! May the Guide go from strength to strength! It's changed or should I say grown a lot over the past couple of years but WGUK has always been the best. It doesn't matter what kind of mood you're in or what king of good news, sad news or problems you have to share there is always someone here who cares what you have to say. Long may it last.
